HERITAGE Expeditions Africa (HEXA) has launched a range of educational travel packages aimed at giving Zimbabwean students practical learning experiences through organised school trips to historical, cultural and natural sites across the country.
The Rainbow Tourism Group subsidiary said the 2026 school packages are designed to complement classroom learning by exposing students to key heritage destinations while encouraging experiential learning, teamwork and critical thinking.
“Heritage Expeditions Africa is inviting schools to unlock immersive, curriculum-enhancing travel experiences with its 2026 school packages,” the organisation said in a statement.
According to the company, the tours are structured to turn travel destinations into “living classrooms”, allowing students to interact with Zimbabwe’s heritage beyond textbooks.
“Designed to complement classroom objectives while fostering critical thinking, teamwork and experiential learning, the programmes transform destinations into living classrooms,” it said.
“From heritage landmarks and national monuments to wildlife sanctuaries and geological wonders, each itinerary balances academic value with adventure, ensuring students gain practical insight, broadened perspective and lasting memories.”
The itineraries include visits to heritage landmarks, national monuments, wildlife sanctuaries and other sites of cultural and historical significance.
The packages include organised transport, guided activities and meals, which the company said will ensure a safe and well-coordinated travel experience for schools.
