DYNAMOS players began a training boycott yesterday over outstanding salaries and signing-on fees.
The players turned up at Hellenics Sports Club yesterday afterno
on by refused to train, demanding payment of outstanding salaries and signing-on fees which they claim have not been paid despite the insistence by both the previous executive and the current leadership led by George Shaya that the players have been paid all their dues.
Insiders at Dynamos said the players received half-salary payments this week after the executive members told the players that the there was not enough money in the club coffers to pay the full salaries.
The latest player action might further wreck the rebuilding exercise at the Harare club if it’s not averted by the time the domestic premiership resumes next week.
