In the Zimbabwe Independent edition of August 29, 2025, under the article “Windmill ‘stops the bleeding’, but new frustration emerges,” our team mistakenly used the wrong photograph for Windmill Private Limited (Windmill) CEO, Mr Kudakwashe Mundowozi.
In the online version of the article, which appeared on the Zimbabwe Independent website as well as across our media platforms, including NewsDay and The Standard, the photograph of Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce president, Mr Tapiwa Karoro, was incorrectly published in place of Mr Mundowozi. This error has since been corrected.
Mr Karoro has never worked for Windmill, and we sincerely apologise to both Mr Karoro and Mr Mundowozi for the mistake, and for any distress this may have caused.
