DStv in free subscriber package upgrade campaign

MultiChoice Zimbabwe’s corporate affairs and public relations head Charity Njanji said the campaign, which was introduced on January 15 and ends on March 31, allows subscribers to gain access to a wide range of viewing options.

MULTICHOICE Zimbabwe has said the recently introduced The Step-Up campaign for local DStv subscribers that enables them to upgrade for free to a chosen bouquet has received positive response from those who have taken up the offer.

MultiChoice Zimbabwe’s corporate affairs and public relations head Charity Njanji said the campaign, which was introduced on January 15 and ends on March 31, allows subscribers to gain access to a wide range of viewing options.

“The Step-Up campaign encourages viewers to renew their subscriptions at a bouquet level higher than their previous one and then receive a free upgrade to a bouquet one level higher than the new one,” she said.

“DStv offers six package options to Zimbabwean subscribers, including Lite, Access, Family, Compact, Compact Plus and Premium, so The Step-Up offer is aimed at the viewers of Lite through to Compact levels.”

She said such campaigns were introduced to add excitement to the market, adding that Zimbabweans enjoyed the access gained to wider options of information, education and entertainment through these initiatives.

“Viewers are so keen to experience the ever-expanding level of viewing enjoyment that upgrades offer. Zimbabweans love special opportunity initiatives like these and the ability to go up not just one bouquet, but two has proved irresistible for a lot of DStv viewers,” Njanji said.
