Mukaro readies Ndorarama Sei

Without sharing much information on the forthcoming song, the songbird told NewsDay Life & Style that she was striving to produce something worth listening to.

GOSPEL sensation Tafadzwa Mukaro is hopeful the year 2024 will be enriching as it sets to start on a high note for her as she prepares to release her single Ndorarama Sei on an Amapiano beat.

Without sharing much information on the forthcoming song, the songbird told NewsDay Life & Style that she was striving to produce something worth listening to.

“I have big dreams and I thank the Almighty as he keeps revitalising my energy towards my calling to minister the word of God through music. Currently I am in the studio working on a single called Ndorarama Sei, which will be released soon,” she said.

“As always, I will continue producing music with social commentary that is basically inspired by the social experiences that people go through, in their day-to-day life.”

The Munamato Unesimba hitmaker hopes to continue growing in music and also spiritually, while composing songs mainly founded on biblical scriptures.

Her prayer is for 2024 to be a prosperous year of continued blessings for everyone.

While some female artistes have had their careers in different disciplines such as music and dance cut short after marriage, it is, however, different for Mukaro, who enjoys the support of husband Wisdom Mukaro, her manager.

In a recent interview, she told NewsDay Life & Style that she was living her musical dream happily with the support of her husband who also helps her in composing and arranging the songs.

“My husband is my pillar of strength. Couples should not let their better halves struggle alone, but they should face the challenges together,” said the songbird.

“I thank God because he gave me a partner in life, my husband, Wisdom, who has the wisdom to support my musical career.”

Mukaro embarked on her gospel expedition at a tender age, but it was in 2014 when she became a professional artiste after she released Mwari Anesu, her debut six-track album.

Backed by her Faith Movers band, Mukaro’s discography now includes albums Tomurumbidza and Vanondichengeta. She also boasts of hit singles which include: Makanaka, Ndashanda, Mhinduro, Kupisirira Kune Zuva, Tinomurumbidza, Munamato Unesimba, Ndashanda, Tibatei and Mweya Mutsvene, a duet with veteran gospel artiste Machanic Manyeruke.
