MDC boycotts not helpful

WHY does Morgan Tsvangirai not walk out of the unity government rather than continue to boycott its proceedings?

There seems to be no unity in the unity government. I think the more he stays in the ineffective government the more he is going to lose his focus.
Right now, instead of him consolidating his support against Robert Mugabe and his cronies, he is wasting precious time reporting to Sadc, AU, and dreaming that the Supreme Court will stop Mugabe from doing as he pleases. Now most of his time is spent trying to figure out how the unity government is going to live a little bit longer. It’s only that the mistake had already been made long ago. It was not ideal for the MDC-T to join Zanu PF in government. Maybe Tsvangirai hoped that some mystical changes would occur in the nature and dealings of Mugabe and Zanu PF.
It is a well known fact that Mugabe and Zanu PF cannot be trusted in unity negotiations and keeping promises. They are only prepared to unify when they are able to subdue the other party. The MDC should have questioned the commitment and genuineness of their partners before they got engaged and married.
