BNC to float US$21m rights offer to restart mining operations

ALPHA Media Holdings (AMH), publishers of the Zimbabwe Independent, the Standard and NewsDay, has appointed Linda Mhlanga as Group General Manager: Advertising, Sales and Marketing.

Linda previously held the position of Group Marketing and Advertising Manager.


Linda has also been appointed to the Alpha Media Holdings board as executive director and becomes the third woman on the board after leading lawyer Beatrice Mtetwa and Anka Krysnska in a seven-member board.

Trevor Ncube, chairman of AMH said: “We are delighted that Linda has accepted the invitation to join the board. She has been instrumental in the growth of the group under the most difficult of circumstances. Her presence on the board will greatly enrich our discussions.”

Linda is a holder of a Master of Arts Degree in Social and Applied Market Research from the University of Westminster, UK. She is mother to Langa and Daniel Sandile.––
