THE Communications League kicks off tomorrow with more excitement on offer following the increase in teams from last year’s 12 to 16 this season. Media rivalry that previously pitted Standardind

and Fingaz is set to intensify with the entrance of Zimpapers into the highly-competitive league.

Zimpapers play their debut match against league giants Cosmopots tomorrow while their fellow newcomers World Vision face a baptism of fire at the hands of champions Copy World.

The other new teams are Barco Chemicals and Execuprint which play Standardind and Nashtec respectively.

Buddie Boys who joined the league midway last season hosts Celsys while in other matches Telecel play DStv and Main Exchange engage Fingaz.

The match between Zimdazzlers and Pungwe completes the first set of encounters.

Fredrick Gijima, chairman of the Communications League said sponsorship will be improved this season and coupled with the entrance of five other teams, raise the level of competition.

“The season promises to be more exciting due to the entrance of five more teams.
