THE scenic Eastern Highlands region’s Valley of Kings suburb is gradually taking shape, an Alex & Webb Reality official has said. Construction of the houses is in progre
ss with some houses already completed.
The spokesman said the new up-market real estate development was within Mutare’s Christmas Pass area and consisted of residential stands from 6 000 square metres (one and a half acres) to 16 000 square metres (four acres).
The residential stands cost $3 500 per square metre as a special offer for the first 10 stands.
The price for commercial and industrial stands is available on application.
“This fully-serviced, exclusive, north facing suburb is strategically located within the environment characterised by several interesting features,” he said.
Prominent considerations include the fact that the suburb is overlooking Africa University and is two kilometres into the renowned Christmas Pass.
It has prominent schools that include Hillcrest Primary and High School, Hartzel Primary and High School, St Augustine’s High School and Mutare Boys and Girls High Schools.
The spokesman said there was entertainment at Christmas Pass Hotel and La Rochelle facilities as well as resort areas that include Penhalonga, Leopard Rock Hotel and Juliasdale/Nyanga Hotels.
He said the terms of securing the stands included cash on transfer or a 40% deposit and balance over 24 months payable with interest.
Mortgage bonds were also available for both local and overseas purchasers.
