I FIND it nauseating that rural folk, however defined, are considered less intelligent, if not inferior, by most of their urban counterparts and the media.

akes one who votes on the promise of employment and other rewards less gullible than the person who is promised food?

I am far from suggesting that things are alright, but unless such naive mindsets change, tichatongwa kusvikira madhongi amera nyanga (this regime will rule forever).

Understandably, newspapers continue to write about what their readership want to hear — they are in the business to make money for the shareholders.
