A Harare man on Friday dragged his step mother to court seeking a peace order after accusing her of abusing him.

Simbarashe Mugaviri from Budiriro told magistrate Sharon Mashavira that Anna Mugaviri was even denying him access to the bathroom and toilet.

“It’s now been three years since she also cut electricity to my room,” Mugaviri said.

Anna denied the allegations.

“He does not want to pay the bills, that is why I cut him off from using electricity,” she said.

“He uses the toilet and leaves it unflushed yet he is a grown up man.”

Mashavira dismissed the case and told both parties to focus on winding up the estate of the deceased to avoid all the problems they were having.
