Zim actress making strides in the US

ZIMBABWEAN actress Sibongile Mlambo, based in the United States, continues to shine in the film industry as she recently landed a role in the American crime series Power Book III: Raising Kanan’s fourth season.

In the series that premiered in 2021, Mlambo plays the role of Imani Okoye, a smart, confident and business-savvy executive at a boutique record label.

The actress starred in the same films with popular actors like the late Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) in the film Message From The King, Under the Silver Lake with Andrew Garfield (Spiderman) and Riley Keough to mention a few.

Mlambo is popularly known for starring in Netflix’s 2018 television series Lost in Space, the Starz historical adventure television series Black Sails and in such films as Honey 3 and The Last Face.

She also played Tamora Monroe on the MTV television series Teen Wolf and as Donna in the series Siren.

The actress is among Zimbabwean actors such as Rick Cosnett, Danai Gurira and Tongai Chirisa, who have starred in Hollywood films.
