I was eager to see Diana Ross honoured by America’s premier music awards, the Grammies. She got a chance to celebrate her upcoming March 26 birthday with the Grammy audience.
She rendered two of her classic songs Reach Out And Touch Somebody’s Hands and The Best Years of My Life to an adoring crowd packed with celebrities and her mentor Berry Gordy, the founder of Motown. The camera man made sure to show a beaming Gordy applauding his protégé and mother of his child.
