ZSE daily turnover plunges to US$300 000

THE Zimbabwe Stock Exchange daily turnover plunged to a meager US$312000 on Wednesday from $1,3 million recorded at close of trades on Tuesday as the equities market slipped 0,09% to 131,46 points, reflecting lack of appetite on the local bourse.

Losses in Delta, Colcom and Old Mutual led the underperformance of the equities market.

Delta lost 0,04% of its share price to 82,28 cents while Colcom and Old Mutual shed 8,33% and 1,15% respectively. Gains were recorded in Seedco, BAT, Turnall, Dawn, Meikles and Willdale.

The resources index was unchanged at 23,68 points.-Staff Writer
