Sharp-shooting striker Knowledge Musona who scored a hat-trick in Mozambique against Muculmana but missed loads of chances in DR Congo, is confident that Chiefs will come good tomorrow evening in their Caf Champions League clash with AS Vita of the DRC.
Having received a 3-0 hiding in the DR Congo capital of Kinshasa last weekend from AS Vita, it should be surmised that Kaizer Chiefs’ campaign in Africa’s most elite club soccer competition, the Orange CAF Champions League, has come to a disappointing end.
But one man is convinced that the two-legged tie is very much alive; provided the home team gets an early goal to settle nerves down.
“It was just not our day. But we have corrected those mistakes. We were a bit jittery on the day but in front of our own supporters. This should be an exciting encounter,” said Musona.
