Motoring: Fiat 500 makes marked entry into Zim market

The car comes in a number of versions to suit a variety of tastes, lifestyles and budgets. These include the entry-level 1,2 POP, the mid-level 1,4 Lounge as well as the high-end 1,4 Sport and the Cabriolet. 

Standard features of the 500 include dual-drive power steering with city function, remote central locking, air conditioning, adjustable headlamps, daytime running lights (DRL), radio and CD payer with MP3 compatibility, split rear sears with head rests as well as front and rear Isofix attachments for child seats.


The car’s high-end 1,4 Lounge and Cabriolet versions also come with added exciting and luxurious extras including chrome exterior packaging, 15 inch alloy wheels, 6-speed manual transmission, electronically operated sunroof, mirrors and roof cloth, leather gear knob and steering wheel with remote stereo controls and the Blue&Me™ hands free phone functionality and USB port.

The car’s 7 airbags (including the knee bag) as well as the ABS, EBD and ESP comprising traction control, stability control and hill holding capacity are standard across the Fiat 500 range.
