The outfit beat 10 other groups in the tightly contested competition that was held at Bulawayo Theatre.
The ladies impressed the judges and the audience with their well choreographed dance routines coupled with their choice of music, and received a standing ovation.
“Hip-Hop Honeys will now proceed to the finals that will be held in Harare at the end of the year,” said show organiser, Andrew “Rico” Machakwa.
Other groups that will take part in the finals will come from Gweru, Mutare and Harare.
Most of the dance groups showed outstanding dance talent proving they had adequately prepared for the show.
Groups that performed at the show include D-Boyz, D-Maniacs and D-Freaks.
Hip-hop/kwaito outfit, Anti-Virus, which were guest artists at the competition, presented a mix-tape of some of their songs.Talented members of the audience were also given a chance to showcase their dancing skills on stage.
House music also proved popular at the event as the audience comprising youngsters dressed in baseball caps and baggy jeans jumped up to dance whenever the disc jockey played a house music hit song.
