Survey misleading

THE headline and interpretation on the story “Zimbabweans confident of GNU –– Survey” (Zimbabwe Independent, January 14) is misleading and not supported by the information provided. “Some 72% agreed that creating an inclusive government was the best way to resolve the recent post-election crisis,” reads the survey.

This is not equal to interpreting it as that: “The majority of Zimbabweans have confidence in the power-sharing agreement between three main political parties.”
On the basis of information provided in this story; “As of October 2010, Zimbabweans continued to place confidence in power-sharing as a mode of governance,” I find this conclusion a fallacious commentary by the authors of the report. But anyway, they may be right on the basis of the full report which as a reader I have not seen.
