Zesa should get serious

ZESA’S Fullard Gwasira has put the blame for the slow pace in the repair of the power stations on consumers  by saying that if all consumers could pay their bills, repairs would be faster and load shedding reduced.

If Zesa issued bills in the first place, the consumers might be more prepared to pay them. Paying a blind amount, without any evidence that the amount they paid the previous month was actually credited to their account, does not give consumers much confidence.
I regularly pay a set amount each month without any guarantee that this is actually credited to my account or any indication of what the current account amounts to or how it is made up.  This is not good business practice.
Zesa should operate on a business footing for them to get results.
