HomeLettersNew Decade Offers Hope for Democracy

Does Zimbabwe ‘yearn for the yuan’?

THE Youth Forum thanks all pro-democratic forces, institutions and individuals for their resilience in the fight for a just Zimbabwe.

We at the Youth Forum take the occurrence of the year 2010 as an opportunity for the renewal of hope, reinvigoration of the spirit of unity, national reconstruction, healing and reconciliation.
We urge key drivers of the Zimbabwean political restructuring process to put their petty differences aside and unite towards robust socio-economic and political reforms.
We also appeal to the former ruling party, Zanu PF, led by its president Robert Mugabe to put national interests first ahead of selfish and corrupt personal interests.
Zimbabwe will never be a Zanu PF colony again.
We wish you all a prosperous 2010.

Youth Forum of Zimbabwe.
