Fleeced By Pharmacy

I RECENTLY walked into a QV pharmacy in Harare intending to buy some medicine.

The price displayed on the counter was $90 000. I advised the attendant that I wanted to pay using Visa card.

He advised me that the displayed price was for cash and the swipe price was six times more than the cash price. I asked why? All he said was that it was the norm. I would have to pay $540 000.

When a subsidiary of public quoted companies trading on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange are also engaged in unethical conduct what is the future of this country?

Where is the NIPC and the ZSE in all this madness? We are being fleeced.

To the RBZ –– please allow me to withdraw all my money from my bank account so that I can buy my medicine at an affordable price.
