THE Zimbabwe Stock Exchange has made three senior new appointments that are expected to be instrumental in the setting up of the securities commission and computerisation of the equities market.
Seti Shumba has been appointed chairman of the stock exchange. He takes over from Bart Mswaka. Ndodana Mguquka was appointed vice chairman, taking over from Shumba.
Tedious Kasaira was appointed treasurer taking over from Jeff Mhlanga.
ZSE chief executive Emmanuel Munyukwi yesterday said the three were experienced with stock market activities and would raise its performance and function to “another level”.
They (Shumba, Muchabuka and Kasaira) are not new to the task at hand and would represent themselves well.
“They will be continuing with immediate objectives such as the setting up of the securities commission and computerisation of the stock market,” Munyukwi said. –– Staff Writer.
