RAMBO and the Terminator will unite to star in a Bollywood film. Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger have signed up to the unique project, which will be the first movie of its kind to be made at Universal Studios.
The mammoth £11m production, the biggest in Bollywood history, tells the tale of an Indian stuntman who takes Hollywood by storm but cannot find true love there. The A-listers will appear alongside Bollywood stars Ashkay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in Incredible Love.
Producer Sajid Nadiadwala said his success in landing Sly and Arnie for cameo roles reflected the growing power of the Indian film market and Bollywood’s increasing co-operation with Hollywood studios that are keen to cut costs.
He confirmed: “We have signed Sylvester Stallone… We have a certain vision for our production house.”
“Since the film is based in Hollywood… It made perfect sense to appoint casting agents in Hollywood and cast mainstream Hollywood stars.
This film is one of our most ambitious ventures to date and we didn’t want to leave any stone unturned.”
It is not yet known if the beefy musclemen will have to learn traditional Bollywood dancing. ––Showbizspy.
