In Sunday’s final in Accra, four-time winners Cameroon will face either holders Egypt or Ivory Coast, who met later last night at Kumasi’s Baba Yara stadium.

Cameroon defender Andre Bikey will miss the final after being sent off in stoppage time for pushing over a first-aid assistant attending to a Cameroon player.

Bikey lost his head after rushing over to the medical team attending to Cameroon captain Rigobert Song, who was lying prone in his penalty area in stoppage time.

Referee Abderrahim El Arjoun of Morocco produced a straight red card and Bikey will receive an automatic ban, costing him a place in the final.

The Ohene Djan stadium crowd reacted angrily, throwing bottles of water towards the England-based Bikey but no one was hurt in the incident. — Reuters.
