COULD your columnist Eric Bloch be persuaded to address the issue of whether there will be an economic recovery without regime change?
He reminds us ad nauseam of
all that is wrong with the economy including the regime’s role in all that has gone wrong, but is it not time that he addressed this most fundamental of questions – even at the risk of upsetting his financial hero Gideon Gono?
In order to avoid any misunderstanding, I do not believe that regime change itself will produce any economic turnaround.
But I will take an awful lot of persuading to believe that regime change is not a fundamental prerequisite for there to be any economic recovery.
