OUGHT we to commiserate with our president for all the aches and pains which he must presently be suffering?
If the fuel problems gave him tummy and headaches, wi
th the current problems bedevilling this country, his whole body must be one big ache.
The solution, of course, would be for him to retire, considering the fact that these painful wounds are self-inflicted.
Perhaps he does not deserve our compassion as the solution lies in his own hands.
However, what we can (and perhaps ought to) do is to pray that he will allow the good Lord to open his eyes to the suffering of the people of this once prosperous country.
Perhaps we should pray that he would receive the wisdom to see what is required on his part and the courage to put it into action. Miracles are known to have happened.
