Start talks if you care or starve us

IT is in the public domain that victory was stolen from the people before the election even began.

The conduct of the election obviously fails the test in a democ

ratic society.

The electoral reforms were a mere cosmetic, theatrical stunt to legitimise

President Mugabe’s regime who is the only winner.

For the average Zimbabwean, a more heightened phase of suffering has just begun. As long as the regime does not whole-heartedly introduce democratic reforms, Zimbabwe will remain a pariah state.

If President Mugabe really cares for us he should resume talks with the opposition or condemn us to years of poverty and starvation.

Bitter,
