WASHINGTON- Five more suspects in the airline bomb plot foiled by British police on Thursday are still at large and are being urgently sought, ABC News reported on its Web site, citing U.S. sources briefed on the plot.

eport. “That hasn’t come from us,” a spokeswoman said. Fox News channel said as many as 10 more suspects were being urgently sought.
A Department of Homeland Security official declined to confirm the report that five people were still sought.
“We believe that the British authorities have disrupted severely this particular operation. As in any such activity there’s always a certain level of uncertainty,” said Charles Allen, chief intelligence officer for the department’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis.
He was speaking on a conference call with reporters. — Reuter
