Uphill task for Rhinos

Staff writer

BLACK Rhinos Football Club faces its moment of truth in the away leg of the Confederation of African Football (Caf) Cup Winners Cup quarterfinal stage against Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca at

the intimidating Moulay Abdallah Stadium in Rabat tomorrow.

The “Green Devils” of Morocco invaded Harare in the reverse fixture a fortnight ago and their performance on that day was enough testimony of their pedigree – holding Rhinos to a 1-1 draw.

It was Raja’s result in Harare that left Rhinos with an uphill task in a floodlit stadium away from home.

The tactically and physically superior Moroccans, with three champions league trophies in their cabinet, are in a class of their own and are favoured to win the tournament. In five matches Raja has scored 15 goals, conceding only five goals
