Jenitala leaves for Poland

NOMADIC talented footballer Musareka Jenitala has joined the Wieslaw Grabowski-facilitated great trek to Poland after turning out for Harare giants Dynamos last season.

>Jenitala flew out to Poland via South Africa on Wednesday but it could not be established which side he intends to join there.

The dread-locked tear-away winger hinted last week that he was on his way to Poland for a stint with a club he wouldn’t divulge.

Jenitala spurned an opportunity to turn out for Dynamos in the Confederation of African Football (Caf) cup campaign and AmaZulu who were interested in him in their Africa Champions League maiden campaign.

He said he could not wait to reunite with his former DT Africa United team-mates Dickson Choto and Shingirayi Kawondera in the Polish league.

“The iron must be struck while it is hot,” he said.

Jenitala, a product of Grabowski’s youth programme that was based in Chitungwiza, turned out for Darryn T, Masvingo United and lately Dynamos.

He was injured during the Cosafa Under-20 soccer tournament in South Africa three seasons ago and did not fully recover his form.

Jenitala had a brief stint with Caps United while recuperating from injury.

The youngster turned out for the Zimbabwe national Under 17 team in 1999 when the squad, coached by Steve “The Dude” Kwashi, his assistant Weekly Mwale and manager Cosmas “Tsano” Zulu, travelled to Guinea for the Third African Youth championships.
