Seeff to exhibit at UK events

Staff Writer

SEEFF Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd, formerly Gainsborough, will be exhibiting Zimbabwean properties at two exhibitions in theUnited Kingdom next month

A spokesman for the estate agency this week said homeowners who would like their properties marketed at the agency’s two upcoming United Kingdom exhibitions should contact its Harare office as soon as possible.

The “Homes in the Sun Expo” will run at Hyde Park in London from September 18 to 19, and the annual “Homes Overseas Expo” at Earl’s Court from September 26 to 28.

Top properties and developments across the price range from all over southern Africa will be exhibited.

According to the spokesman the combined offering of two international exhibitions of this calibre was a first for any southern African agency.

“Last year, thousands of people, mostly from the UK and Europe, attended the Earl’s Court Expo, and we secured literally hundreds of serious buyers,” he said

“Many visitors were there for one reason only, purchasing property in Africa. Marketing and exhibiting abroad is a minefield. For all the high costs involved, it can be quite ineffectual unless one goes about it correctly. The extent of Seeff’s sales to UK buyers indicate that years of effort are paying off. For our sellers, this means unrivalled access to the UK buyer market.”

He said the company were the sole southern African member of the prestigious Guild of Professional Estate Agencies, a network of more than 700 high-calibre agencies in the UK, Ireland and Spain, as well as a member of the London-based property agency and magazine Foxton’s.

“Overseas buyers and investors generally demand extremely high standards of service and ethics. These memberships confirm that we can deliver to these standards,” he said.

The spokesman said for further information about these UK exhibitions interested individuals should contact their Harare office on 495445, 494099, 495077, 498740 or 481609.
