The Samsung family of digital telephones has enjoyed success since being released onto the South African market.

Lear said her company would connect branches from all sectors of business from small to medium-scale enterprises as well as in the mining, banking and agricultural sectors in Zimbabwe.

“Flexibility is a key feature of the Samsung PBX range, offering tailor-made solutions to individual business needs,” she said.

“As Zimbabwe’s first direct dealer of Samsung PBX technology we can promise a successful solution which reflects the ability of the Samsung product range to cater for the demanding requirements of our region.”

She said partnerships with leading regional organisations in telecommunications were a boon for Dimension Data.

“We presently have a 60% market share in Zimbabwe and about 40% on the regional market,” she said. The regional market includes Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The company has partnerships with British Telecom, Cisco Systems, Molex Premises Networks, Redwing Satellite Solutions, Redline Free Space Optics, Websense Employee Internet Management, and the Posts and Telecommunications Corporation of Zimbabwe. It is a strategic partner to Ernst and Young.

Incorporated in Zimbabwe in November 1994, Dimension Data Zimbabwe is a 100% locally-owned company, which has grown to be Zimbabwe’s largest networking and communications solution provider.
