Kamushinda leaves board

PROMINENT businessman and founder of Metropolitan Bank of Zimbabwe Ltd Enoch Kamushinda has now stepped down completely from the financial institution’s board.

e=”Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif”>Kamushinda, who had been accused by senior management and the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) of having too much control on the affairs of the institution, no longer appears on the list of directors running the bank.

Metropolitan is currently chaired by Constance Kamuriwo-Mutunhu.

She this week said her bank had returned all the money borrowed from the central bank, paving the way for its aggressive capitalisation programme.
