I’M a Zimbabwean finance masters student here at LBS and am sure that I’m the first to access your website each week.
At the time of writing there appeared to be
a problem with the April 2 issue of the Zimbabwe Independent. Since Friday it has not been updated and still had the previous week’s vintage.
Several readers e-mailed us about our website last weekend. Cyberplex Africa managing director Roy Steiner has informed us that on Friday their hosting provider in the United States which carries the mirror website of the Independent experienced an outage likely caused by a virus attack.
This outage was rectified by the end of the day and we wish to apologise to our overseas readers for the disruption in the service.
