Not a lone battle after all

CHRISTIANS believe Jesus Christ came on earth as a saviour to heal the sick, raise the dead and bring salvation to mankind. However his life on earth was short-lived when he was betrayed by one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot – all for t

he love of money.

So as it was then, it should occur to every Zimbabwean now that Morgan Tsvangirai emerged to save us, fight for what is right and make every life of a Zimbabwean worth living.

Like Jesus he suffered many setbacks, difficulties, trials and criticisms but he persisted to this day and sadly is now enduring the lashes of betrayal from his so-called trusted intellectuals who have decided to sup with the devil.

The top-six have not only betrayed Tsvangirai but all Zimbabweans who had put their lives in their hands.

It is very shameful, disgusting and at the same time disheartening how the top officials including our own MPs could make a deal with the devil for some benefits at the expense of people’s livelihoods.

We have one true hero who stands for the people like Christ who died for our sins: Tsvangirai.

I’m just a student concerned about my future even when I’m getting good grades. To all the betrayers remember Judas couldn’t live with the guilt of betrayal. To Tsvangirai, I’ve just got my ID and so have dozens of friends.

Now we can vote and will not rest until freedom is ours. God help Zimbabwe.

Munya,

Kwekwe.
