IN our businessdigest article titled “Restoration of RBZ’s lender status crucial” in the January 27 issue of the Zimbabwe Independent, Economics lecturer Prof Tony Hawkins was quoted as saying confidence in the financial sector would not be restored as long as the Central Bank remained dysfunctional. We have since established that the words were erroneously attributed to him and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused him.
