I am very disappointed to note that the ZANU(PF) appointees like Chihuri,Shiri,Chiwengwa,Tomana,Gono,etc are still at their posts and some even voicing their support for Gono,some non constituency MP,who got where he is by bootlicking,who we are told cried when exposed for his Tsholotsho attendance,tells us,the people who voted him out to leave Gono alone. We are told he did not steal even a cent. Will someone tell me how much a Reserve Bank Governor earns which enables him to urbanise his Chigavakava homestead,acquire m*re that 3 commercial farms,enable him to acquire contracts for his young brother from City of Harare,the list is endless.
The point I want to make,rather than remind people of the corrupt activities of the Governor,is that the MDC needs to be careful,otherwise what the people voted for will not be achieved.ZANU bigots will remain where they where despite overwhelming rejection by the electorate.They will be made to legimatise the regime and the benefits will flow to GONO and co so that he will realise his dream of fuelling the nation with pa*sion.

I do not understand why the Gono issue stirs a lot of bickering. If we now have the right person above him why don't we doc*ment his wrongs and get him out of the job using the instruments available? There has been m*re of 'Gono must go' than clear exposition of why. I must hasten to add that a man born of a woman would never be something to completely lean on. ALL men have a their weakness but the greatest threat to progress is when our attention is blinkered to those weaknesses while neglecting the positive aspects. I thought the real starting point (where we need to direct our energies) is NOT about who is where now, but working for the establishment of a new constitution and immediately holding elections. ALL progressive forces should never go to bed everyday without calling for a new constitution and elections. Our current set-up is unacceptable. A country should never be run on the basis of what politicians agree.

The Gono/Tomama issue is as old as Mugabe ngaaende issue. The truth is these guys are not going anywhere as long as Mugabe is still in power. Tsvangirai must compose a 12 track album if he wants to be a musician rather than annoying the nation by singing a three word phrase 'Gono/Tomana must go' 24/7. Why did he join the unity government if he does not want working with some of Mugabe's man. What will he say if Mugabe says Biti must go?
