SOUTH African songstress Bulelwa Mtukana, popularly known as Zahara, has fallen in love with Zimbabwe.
The award-winning singer-songwriter, who staged three shows in Zimbabwe last year, will once again return to the capital for a show with Oliver Mtukudzi and Alexio Kawara at the Harare International Conference Centre on March 8.
In an interview during one of her visits last year, Zahara expressed her love for the country and fellow artists.
“I love the atmosphere and the artists here are so talented which makes me feel at home,” she said.
An organiser of the upcoming show, Chris Musabayana of Ghetto Fabulous Entertainment, said all is set for the show.
The show will also give Mtukudzi time to make a comeback after failing to attract his usual crowds at recent shows.
Meanwhile Kawara said he was more than ready for the gig.
“I am always ready. In fact, gigs have to be ready for me,” he said.
“We have done all that needed to be done and come the day of the show we will rock alongside Zahara.”
Zahara has taken South African music scene by storm with her 12-track album, Loliwe which means train in the Xhosa language. The album reportedly sold out 72 hours after release.
The title-track video features former Big Brother Africa housemate, Luclay.
Last year she won eight South African Music Awards.
